Founded amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, our company has defied the odds and flourished over the past three years. As a family-owned and operated business, we take pride in our journey from humble beginnings to becoming a reputable player in the waste transportation industry.
Leadership
Darius has grown up in the South Houston area. Were his family has owned numerous companies. Darius graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with his Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
While working full time as an RN at Harris Health System Ben Taub (Emergency Center) for 3 years he decided to venture out into the world of entrepreneurship. He founded SWI along with his Father Luis Garcia in November 2020.
Darius strives to bring the same care and compassion that he practiced as a nurse to all his customers.
